DWC Partners in Preservation Social Media Toolkit

The National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express are teaming up to grant $2 million in preservation funding. Every year, they fund a select number of projects – and the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is honored to be in the running.

We are asking our community to vote for DWC and our historic preservation project. With funding from this grant, we’re looking to revitalize the façade of our historic building at 442 San Pedro Street, and bring new life to this building that serves as a home and haven for so many in our community.

VOTE daily for DWC at http://VoteYourMainStreet.org/LosAngeles until October 29!

Also, we would be grateful for your help in promoting our building’s story for the Partners in Preservation grant!

We’d love for you to reach out in your own words and if you need a little inspiration, below you’ll find everything you need to repost about DWC including social copy, graphics and key tags!

I’d love to bring your attention to a special cause. The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC), the only provider for women overcoming homelessness in LA County, is a finalist for The National Trust for Historic Preservation grant. Every year they grant $2 million to a select number of projects and this year DWC is a finalist!  They are hoping to restore the facade of their historic building on San Pedro St and bring new life to a place that serves as a home and a haven for so many in the #DTLA community.

We need your vote! You can vote for the DWC up to 5 times every day. Please vote as many times as you can from now until October 29th. This money would do a lot of good for them and their community.
