Is this a shelter/where can I go if I need a shelter?

DWC is not a shelter, but there are several in the downtown Los Angeles area, including:

Pathways To Home
3804 Broadway Place, Los Angeles, CA 90037
(No ID needed)
Daily bus pick up at 3pm and 3:30pm on San Julian St. between 6th St. and 7th St.
Intakes are held on Tuesday and Thursdays, 1pm-4pm

Union Rescue Mission
545 South San Pedro St., Los Angeles, CA 90013
(ID Needed)
15 day, one-time emergency stay (extended stay may be possible)
URM has the Gateway program, which is $210 a month

The Winter Shelter Program (WSP) operates between the months of December and March. If you are in need of shelter during the months when the WSP is closed, call 211 for emergency referrals or visit the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority's website to find help.
